During the year, Press Now offers several internships. Students in journalism, communications, international affairs, political sciences, or another relevant subject, who are interested in media development and political developments in the regions in which Press Now works, can apply for an internship. Good verbal and writing skills of both English and Dutch, as well as the ability to work with computers and internet are required. Private Donors and Press Now
Press Now is supported by many private donors, who are often closely involved with our work. Their personal donations are a great help to our work. Private donations provide Press Now with a significant independent source of income, which allows us to finance special projects and assures our independence. Apart from this important financial role, public support for our work is essential as well. Please, support Press Now by becoming a private donor!

You can support our work by becoming a private donor of Press Now. We appreciate this kind of support enormously! As a donor, you will receive our (Dutch) newsletter three times a year, with which we inform you about our activities, partners, projects, and media developments in the region. If you are interested, we will also send you our (English) email newsletter.

Become a private donor of Press Now
You can support Press Now in several ways:

  • Become a private donor by authorising Press Now to debit a fixed donation to your bank account once every month, 3 months, 6 months, or per year, by means of a standing order. In this way Press Now is ensured of regular donations and we economise on transfer charges. 
  • You can authorise Press Now for a standing order with the form on the next page (Financial Support: press here). Please, fill in this form and sign it, and send it to us by mail. The bank orders your signature in order to carry out your standing order. If you do not have a printer, you can order a form by e-mail or phone info@pressnow.nl or +31 35 62 54 300). In case you do not live in The Netherlands, please ask your bank to arrange your transfer.
  • You can also donate regular sums by notarial deed. These donations are 100% tax-deductible (under Dutch income tax), irrespective of the amount.
  • Another way to support us is to remember Press Now in your will.
  • Of course you can support us as well by means of single credit transfers. Our bank account details are: ING Postbank, account number 7676, of ‘Press Now, Amsterdam’ (IBAN code is NL44 PSTB 0000 0076 76, BIC or SWIFT code PSTBNL21). Please, state ‘single donation’.

XS4ALL sponsort organisaties en internet-projecten die direct aansluiten bij de maatschappelijke kwesties waar XS4ALL zich mee bezig houdt, zoals vrijheid van meningsuiting, security en privacy op internet, of die vanuit innovatief oogpunt aansluiten bij het werkveld van XS4ALL.
XS4ALL ondersteunt Press Now op het gebied van internet-initiatieven die erop gericht zijn om informatie op internet voor iedereen te ontsluiten en censuur te bestrijden of te omzeilen. Voor XS4ALL is vrijheid van meningsuiting een groot goed. Iedere stem moet gehoord kunnen worden. Onafhankelijke media, vrije nieuwsvoorziening en nieuwsgaring zijn belangrijke fundamenten van de democratie.
